Exercise 3 (to be brought to class
for discussion Week 4)
Using the Bezier pen in Freehand/Illustrator, draw an image of the object you photographed and wrote about in Week 1. For this exercise, it's okay if you trace the object. You don't have to use color, just do a simple drawing. Now, really exaggerate the qualities that you liked. Say your object was your car. In your drawing, you could make the curves smoother and curvier, and maybe outline the highlights on the shiny surface. If your object was a fluffy toy, you could exaggerate its fluffiness. |
